Rushed for time here is a 2 minute summary!

Let me break it down: I've been on the supply chain train for nearly 20 years, immersed in multiple functions such as 3PL, production planning, inventory management, but primarily in procurement. Procurement/Sourcing is where I found my niche, the balance between internal customers and external suppliers, the opportunity to constantly learn about commodities and overcoming all the supply chain challenges.

I've been strategically savvy and laser-focused on achieving results in the form of cost savings, risk avoidance, and continuous improvement. I've built robust teams that have managed over $280M worth of goods and services. I was like a chess grandmaster, strategizing on commodities and suppliers, cutting multi-year deals with global partners, and managing supplier relationships. Of course, I had days filled with grunt work too - handling purchase orders, talking to suppliers, and sorting out those godforsaken invoice issues.

I thrived when I was launching products in the demanding, unpredictable world of NPI Materials Management. It was like being in a high-speed car chase - dealing with product spec changes on the fly, managing the materials during R&D, supporting test builds while ensuring we didn't end up with obsolete items. Juggling multiple supplier sourcing events, leading quality audits, and hammering out contracts. I also learned the secret to rallying the troops from different teams to get the job done efficiently.

I'm always seeking ways to improve things. From automating mundane tasks to designing new reporting tools, from streamlining processes to implementing sophisticated systems like e-Procurement, ERP, or forms management software. I love devising solutions that remove roadblocks, freeing up time to work more strategically.

I believe all these years have provided me with the tools to drive value and enhance efficiency in any organization. I've demonstrated this value by working for 3 companies a total of 8 times. That speaks volumes about the quality of work I deliver and the value I bring. Management at different companies across various industries have rehired me. Hopefully you'll see value in that!

I've taken some time off to care for my grandmother before she passed. I'm now excited and ready to find my next job that will kickstart my career once more.
